Great Job everybody!!!! Hannah (22months) LOBPI can climb up onto our big chair in the living room, and can climb up onto the slide at school all by herself, and drink out of a cup with her left elbow almost at her side.

Brittney, who is 11 and just started Middle School, is learning how to play the clarinet in the school band. Today the band teacher asked her to play the song so the others could hear how it's supposed to sound when it's played!!!!!! The instructor has been great about Britt's unusual way of playing and now has realized that she can really play good even with her elbow out and body turned a bit. Brittney loves being in the band with her friends - and is having alot of fun. Thursday they try out for chair positions and she has been practicing hard.

I sure love hearing about all of the great things everybody is doing. I was smiling the whole time I was reading these posts. Thanks to all of you for sharing,
Christy

Ok here is my brag. Whitney has started to pull herself to standing. She has even started to let go, and try to stand alone. My little girl is growing up so fast. I have to say that with all of the little things she surprises us with, it sure helps us to deal with all of the problems that we face every day. Thanks for the brag post idea, it really puts things into perspective!

I am a mom, so of course I want to brag too!

Sam (14 months) can hold his sipper cup with both hands. He does cheat sometimes - when he holds it, his BPI (left) arm wings out but oh well, I don't have to hold his cup for him anymore! Oh yeah, and he can crawl into his little toddler bed by himself! This is all pre-Mod Quad too! I can't wait to see the results after the surgery. :)

Okay, I guess it's my turn =)
A few things I can brag about today? Here they are:
Ella (2yrs) brushed her hair with her left(OBPI) arm this morning!
She got it right up there!
She was also watching her sister put on her sweatwhirt and she once Ella's was on she tried zipping it with both hands! YEY...good try right?
Maybe once she actually knows how to zip it won't be a problem.
Last, but not least...last night she brushed her teeth with her Left arm too.
It's little things like this that make my days brighter! =)
