An old member of the TCH team told us we could wait until our daughter was around 9 months for primary. It depends on the severity of the injury. I think some doctors pressure you into the decision and may make you feel guilty for not doing things on their time schedule.

I don't think you need to send Dr. Waters a video if you are considering 2nd opinions.
When my 9 month old son was 2 months old, we brought him in for his 1st appointment with Dr. Waters and no video was needed. We got in to see him originally through a local orthopedic doctor and during my research I saw his name in the
http://www.nbpepa.org/ website.
If you're in the Massachusetts area it is definitely worthwhile to have a appointment with him and to get another opinion.
Since Dr. Waters is our regular doctor we got a 2nd opinion at a BPI picnic in NY from Dr. Nath at Texas Childrens Hospital. My son was about 4 months old at that time. Fortunately both doctors had the same recommendation not to perform a primary surgery. I know at the time it made us feel much better to have multiple opinions and reconcile that with the many late nights of research on the internet.
We did not see movement in our son's elbow / biceps till around the 3 month point and then he started to make slow but steady progress.

Thank you all for your input. You have really helped me with my decision. I have two consultations next week amd with luck we will gain enough information to make an informed decision. Than you again!
