Congratulations!! I myself just a month or so ago sent a video into Dr. Nath's office. He called me back within just a few days!! Isn't it amazing!! Now the worst part seems to be dealing with the insurance companies. Dr.'s over here in my neck of the woods (MT) know nothing about it and are very quick to not put blame towards any Dr. who did this to someone. It's very frustrating but I too know how you feel!! Its so wonderful to hear such great things from other people and realize that I wasn't the only one out there dealing with this pain!! Let me know how it goes for you!!!

Hey its me again guys!! The neurological Dr. here wouldn't even give me an ENG or is it EMG? (thought it was)hmm...I may have to go to another Dr. here for that also. I never realized they hurt! Someone told me it was just little shockers they hooked you up to. What does it feel like?? Yikes!!
Thanks again
Rachel

Its EMG and I think you should have a hot fudge sundae and two ice cream soda's and a Massage at a Spa after and emg... of course I am a big baby about needles of any kind. I could have my teeth drilled without anything but I hate to have pins stuck in my arms....

The good part about it was - I read the report looked up all of the muscles and nerves at a website and really understand all that was NOT working and a little bit why.

For some reason I needed to know all of this information and it helped me understand why I can't do some things. Although there is not much I could not do I just did it differently.

So go find someone to do it. Maybe you are not as much of a needle hater as I am.

Kath

When i had an emg done last year, I cried towards the end when they were near my fingers and especially the thumb...it was very painful for me (LOBI). I did not return to work that day, took a nap afterwards. Dont mean to worry you b/c every case is so different; just being honest.
Hey Rachel! Remember me? your friend in south florida.
We spoke on the phone a couple months ago about surgery experiences? Did you ever make it to houston? Im just curious how the evaluation went. Please update if you feel like sharing. (if you'd rather email me: neisha719@hotmail.com)

My daughter is 11 and just had the mod quad at TCH last week and is doing fine. She held onto nemo the whole time. Good luck to you.
