primary surgery...how successful?

My daughter had primary surgery when she was 5 months old to c5 c6 &c7 She is now almost 3years old and had a highly functional Arm although it is weeker and she holds it differently she has so far developed no contractures. I would say it is definitely worth it.
I do understand that it can be a very overwhelming and scary decision to make. I wish I knew about this website when I had to make that decision.
