My children did competitive swim. On their swim teams I found a great deal of support for each child. It amazed me how much they cheered for the person who was last and gave great kudos for finishing. Each person competed against their best time so the goal was to beat yourself... She will do fine...

I knew she was a girl after my own heart- It's all about how you look in a swimsuit.... LOL.... LOL...

She will enjoy the summer and I am so glad she finish PE. I hated PE/Gym my teacher pulled us out in front of the class to do the exercise and then had a fit because I did it wrong... 4 years - 4 time a year!
I did not tell my Mom because I did not want her to get into it. I should have but I was too independent.

Christi, wow your Brit sounds like a very special girl and may I say that it is my hope that at 11 yrs of age Ashley is equally determined and self assured!

Ashley has over use problems already too, she plays piano and uses the computer regularly, her sister Frannie who is 4, will ask Ashley to play the piano for her and I will sometimes hear Ashley say.......No Frannie I can't right now, I already did that for a long time and now my hand is sore, I need to rest it! It just so amazing to me.......!
