Keep after this to find out what is causing it. I am diabetic and you fainting sounds a lot like what I experince when my sugar is running low. I do not feel hungry, in fact, when I get that low the thought of eating is sickening to me. I will get very hot and see flashes of light. I will hear ringing in my ears or a muffled sound, similar to what you said about being underwater.

Get this checked. The doctor should have done at LEAST a blood test. Sounds alot like low blood sugar.

MICHELLE,

ME AND MY SISTER AND MY COUSIN ALL HAD THIS HAPPEN TO US. WE WERE ALL CIGARETTE SMOKERS AND MY CARDIOLOGIST SAYS THAT MIGHT BE AN ISSUE. ALSO THEY GAVE ME WHAT IS CALLED A TILT TABLE TEST WHERE THEY LAY YOU ON THE TABLE AND MONITOR YOUR HEART RATE AND BLOOD PRESSURE AFTER 20 MINUTES THEY THEN TILT THE BED UPRIGHT AND OF COURSE I PASSED RIGHT OUT. I ALWAYS KNEW WHEN I WAS GOING TO PASS OUT BEFORE IT HAPPENED. THEY FOUND OUT IT WAS MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND THAT IT IS COMMON IN YOUNG ADULTS AGES 17-22. I TOOK ATENELOL WHICH IS A BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS. I HAVE NOT HAD AN ATTACK SINCE I WAS 21 AND I AM NOW 26. MY SISTER AND COUSIN ALSO "GREW" OUT OF THE PASSING OUT. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND THAT YOU FEEL BETTER SOON!
