Sorry, you can't do the canoe. You'll overuse the good arm!!!! (What good arm?????) I think I'm coming with my mother. Unless I'm working--although I still might come late-leave early--if I have to . I want to show everyone how to dip their head and avoid the wall when drying the hair Pat

Pat

Your right I don't know which are is the unaffected one anymore... I think the right obpi arm is taking care of the left worn out arm... LOL...

But I have never been on a canoe... so I don't want to miss the opportunity... I hate speed boats and sail boats... I have tried waterskiing and wondered why I kept loosing my grip... duh! was I stupid...LOL... I just kept on trying to stay up...LOL... and hold on...

See you in camp and I hope your Mom can come too.... can't wait to meet all of you...

Went to the Dr. yesterday. Tremors and twitching in the good arm. Middle finger keeps dislocating. I think the arthritis has hit a new high. Carpal tunnel worse. He said not to even consider working full time. don't use the arms--blah blah. I need a robot to do the housework. Or train the dog to dust with her yail. Pat
Hope you are staying warm!!!

hello to everyone. I just stumbled across this website as i was searching for information on bpi injuries. My daughter was born with this birth injury 7 1/2 yrs ago and she is having a tough time with fitting in. she feels she is the only person out there that doesnt have two fully working arms. I have tried to explain to her that there are other kids and adults like her but a mom can only say so much when she can SEE anyone like her. That is why i am absolutely thrilled to see that there is a camp for children as well as adults AND FAMILIES that i can take her too and what is the chances of it being right in my back door? well it pretty much is! i live in Malone NY about an hour trip to camp.. i'm sooo happy for her...she is thrilled to get to meet others in her situation and i'm really really hoping she makes some long lasting friendships as she has no friends to speak of in her class. they dont approach her and she is pretty shy and wont approach them. it kills me so i'm anxiously awaiting camp... UBPN you rock!
Lori Beach.. angelgirl_f@yahoo.com ps... if you have a daughter around sarah's age (7) please email me if you are going to attend the camp so that we can get our girl in touch with one another either online or in person. thanks so much!
