I just read your post that your daughter will be having a LOWER trap transfer, rather than an upper trap transfer. I wanted to set your mind at ease: the lower trap transfer is a much, much less painful procedure!!! The recovery is more intuitive and quicker than the upper trap transfer! YAY for your little girl! I really wish this surgery had been an option for Aria.
I have read a lot of studies where children (and adults) have had amazing results from the lower trap transfer (and none where their winging was increased)!
I'm excited about the possibilities this surgery could open for your little girl! Please keep us posted on her progress!!!
