WELCOME DAVID!! to our UBPN Family. There is alot of Caring-Support, information, and sharing our experiences here on all Message Forums-- and everyone is welcome on all Forums. There is no such thing as a dumb question anywhere on UBPN.

Come back often, I love learning from everybody's posts!

David,
Welcome. Your story sounds very much like mine. I've been living with ROBPI for 46 years and used to be very self-conscious about it. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Hello, I am new to this site and I am 61!!! Even tho I was lucky, my parents got me the help I needed earlier on, This site has changed my way of thinking down on myself! I had no idea so many were affected by this? Thank you all for sharing your stories. I feel better already. I was a successful teacher in the town I grew up in, I have a wonderful understanding husband, and 3 great kids! I just wanted to share my story. :}

Hi Antoinette

I was just 60 when I found this site and was shocked that so many babies were injured. When I first found UBPN there were only 5 adult/obpi posting. Over the last 9 years I have been fortunate enough to get to know so many other adult/obpi's and share our thoughts, humor and frustrations when it come to life with bpi.

I also have a great husband 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My parents started care for me in NY Hospital at the age of 2 weeks. Some of the therapy I see the kids using today is the same therapy my parents used for me. Welcome to the Message Boards.
