HI,
for my son with left arm injury we used a special shirt. We made it our own. Because he can not control his arm with running, swinges every side. We made a sort of a "mitella" a towel in wich you put your arm when that arm need to rest after being broken or twisted. he lays his arm into it and doesn't have to pay attention to it so he runs faster. Of course there are things that he can not do. But i taught him to be proud and look good at all the things he CAN do.

Connie, My daughter has an injury to her right arm. As bad as I think her arm is, I listen to stories about kids who seem to have greater difficulties than her. She has been playing tennis for two years. At first it was very difficult. Her arm was very week and she didn't have the range of motion. She couldn't lift her arm to serve. Two years later she is practicing to play in her first tournament in September. Her range has gotten so much better, her servers go over the net every time. You'd be surprised how well these kids do. She is strong phisically mentally and spiritually.
