Hi

Thank you so much. Where can her find her story?

Being here has made me so much less depressed about my sons injury because I ralise that even if he doesnt recover he can have a very normal life like others with this injury. He is very healthy boy except for the BPI and if others can do it he can too.

It will be a test for him if he doesnt recover but also its his choice to accept it and lead a normal life...i have chosen to accept it and deal with it and can only help and encourage him. I hope he will have a healthy mind to be like others who have BPI and do best in life and lead very normal life. I do hope though he and others recover from the injury.

Thanks and sorry for mispellings, engish is my 3rd language.

Love, P.

I just wanted to point out that Femke didn't bend her arm until 3 months old...so much for time limits....

There is a newer version of the video than is referred in the thread mentioned above. This video shows Femke's progress until her second birthday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGMPuRKCmDc

Hi all

My son suffered right BPI and i have noticed when i lay him down on his left side he lifts his right hand all the way to his ront from the back...his harm used to just laydown on his back limp(life less) when I used to lay him down on his left side.

Is this good sign? I have no specialist here and hopefully will be arriving in US in July then i will lookk for specialist. Fow now we just recovering naturally

Elbow is not bending yet, his upper arm seems very strong, and does lots of lifting, his shoulder moves.

Thanks for the video, what an amazing recovery, she is special and am so happy for you. She is so cute too.

I will say that ANY sign of movement is a "good sign" but what the end result will be is an unknown. Unfortunately there is no definite answer for your question. It is a difficult wait and see time, unless it is determined that your son needs surgery, which can only be determined by a qualified dr. I will keep you and your son in my prayers.
