Carron, I went through a total hysterectomy when Michaela was 3 years old and that was even hard. My parents basically moved in with us for 2 weeks and my husband took 2 weeks of vacation time to be home. If your husband has enough vacation time or sick time built up maybe his company could let him take the pay and give him family medical leave time. Do you have a good friend or fellow church member who can come and help? Just some ideas. I had total hysterectomy and mini tummy tuck done at the same time because I'm obese and diabetic and the doctors were worried about infection under my stomach. The incisions wer all the way across bikini line and all the way up to my navel, but I got a new navel in the process!LOL It will be OK you just NEED to plan ahead of time for help. If people can't donate a week chunk of time, get your calendar out and have different people commit to different days till you have the time period filled out. My prayers are with you! LeeAnne

Carron,
I feel so bad for you!! I think all the ideas you've gotten are good....I hope someone in your area(church, friends) can help.....one thing that you can do is make a bunch of food and put it in the freezer...then your husband could just microwave it.
In my church the women have a relief society and they always keep tabs on each other and if there is a need they bring in meals for surgery...etc...I hope you can find something like this!! You sure have had too much to deal with!!! I hope and pray your burdens will be lightened.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. It must be
very hard to keep your worries down. We will be praying for you here. If I lived closed to you,
I would check in on you everyday. I would make
meals for you and everything. (At least know this,
we are all supporting you, and will be here for you.)
If you have a church, ask them to help. I think everyones ideas are a great start. Let us know
how it goes.
God bless you, and your family,
Debbie
