Brachial plexus is political! my child was denied from health insurance because of his injury. we had to put money in a special needs trust which is very political. because the law was changed to help the disabled in 1994. this law could change depending who our political leaders. so i feel that suggesting or trying to educate others about covering all americans or at least making it cheap and no RYDERS and NO DENIALS FOR REQUIRED SURGIES. yea i am sure there a slew of problems of the complete universal. but. "in my opinion" how soooo serious the next election is because i feel it should be a CRIME to deny a child health care. that child should not have to have a higher rate for his extra care. this should be one of ubpn's talked about issue and it should not be pushed under the rug. if it is worse in wisconsin than lets talk about making it better, as well in other countries. we should think of positive solutions to advocate for those who get pooped on by the health insurance companies. i have been reading posts for 4 years and i cannot count the vents of desperate parents trying to get therapy, surgery etc. and of course the number one solution i hear is the Shrines. and they are great! we have been to two in two states. but it is FREE. can u imagine if all hospitals we as easy. there is an argument to costs but i bet the data of unpaid or DENIED by insurance makes you ponder. i have an 20 federal government employee in my family and from the solutions just we have talked, what if we "ubpn" got together and talked about our national health crisis imagine?

A brachial plexus injury is a medical problem, unless somehow all these years my daughter's arm has been involved in politics and it escaped me. Nevertheless, I believe I will just be a bigger person and avoid an argument. It is possible for me to be involved with this board and ignore the political discussions. I just don't feel that bashing our current administration is the way to "work through" a change in our medical system. I believe many of you have been deceived by the media into thinking that somehow the president of the United States is in his oval office determining which children will be receiving medical care and which will not. "If my insurance company won't cover it, the government will" is the mantra of so many trying to help themselves and those they love. But the problem is with the insurance companies, not the government, unless of course you BELIEVE in socialist government, and that healthcare should be free to all. If you do, then that is your POLITICAL VIEW, and that is what I am asking you to keep off of this site. Thank you very much.

Respect your opinion and was not to slam or force my humanity of health care upon any one. i bet you never had to fight the government. well i sure have. it is humanly wrong to deny children medical care. i hope there are others who can sympathize with my struggles through our system. it is medical but our country has made it very political. our health insurance made record high profits. and that same insurance company has paid its share to our political leaders through lobbyists. so i am not pushing my view or sorry to offend you but, really our health care is very focused on this election. i am truly waiting for the day my son does not have Ryder because it was made illegal through our government.
