Sorry to hear about Tess being sick hope she feels better soon, Its weird how their arms start to hurt when they are coming down with something Frankies primary doctor used to think I was nuts when I would call him to make an appointment to get his ears and throat checked out but sure enough if his arm hurt he had an ear infection or the start of strep and his arm hurt before his ears or throat did and it was always the shocking pain, he would twist and pinch it so hard he says it makes him crazy some times and the doctors can't really explain why this happens it just does when he was a baby and cutting teeth he would bang his wrist on the crib bars and chew on his hand to the point of needing stitches. I hope Tess fines relief soon Mare

hey everyone this is Tess. yeah i really dont understand this pain. Im glad to hear im not the only one so im able to atleast talk to people that know how this unexplainable feeling acually feels. i really have never felt anything like this. its just about the worst pain i have ever felt! whats weird is it acually doesnt hurt its this feeling that you just cant stand. you cant even explain it which is crazy. When i try telling people like the doctor at the hospital the other day, they looked at me like im crazy! i dont get it. The hot bath/hot tub sadly didnt help me alot. but the acuapunture helped alot! (even after my panic attack of the needles being in me) one even started moving in my bpi arm! crazy right?! well thanks so much for all the help.
xo,Tess

I'm so glad that something finally helped you.
Let's hope you are pain free now and have some tools to use if this should start up again.

It is so hard trying to explain those feelings, to doctors,I can't find the exact words...

Thanks for posting

Tess,
I am glad that something is working for the pain. I had Mono when I was a teenager and it was the pits. Are you able to go to school ? I had a homebound teacher come to the house and teach while I was stuck home. Hope that you will be feeling better soon.....Judy

Tess, My name is Kathy Weston and I am 52 years old. I have LOBPI from birth. I now have two large blisters healing on my elbow from a heat pad I got too hot, trying to ease the pain you are dealing with. Yes, I have been to the Dr. with Strep throat and sinus infection. I know excatly what you are talking about. Everytime I get sick or it is going to rain My arm hurts so bad I scream. Like you say it is a stabbing, shocking pain. My Drs. have acted like I'm crazy all my life. If they only could realize just how bad it was maybe they would understand. Usually I can knock it a little with Tyanol #3, but Last week when I was sick nothing would ease it. I have suffered with these all my life.
