I am glad to see adult/obpi being honest on this thread. That is why this question is posed here on the adult/obpi Message Board. I also feel we need more for OBPI/adults at camp. There are many issues, that most (not all) OBPI adults have never had and opportunity to address in a "safe" place.

Your responses will help in the planning of the next camp. This is the only place we can express our feelings with others who understand.
This message board was created so that we can share our feelings and needs as adult/obpi.

BUMPING UP for Kath....poor dear,she's going to be another year older very soon and is forgetful sometimes...LOL

Come on! let all of us adults do a Wish List of what will make us want to go to Camp 2009 in Florida. You all know we adults need to be with each other!!

I'd love to finally go to one of the camps.. it sounds so cool, and the only thing is- i graduate college in the spring.. and i'll be starting a professional carrer- how do you guys get the days off that you need to go to camp??

Up until now, they were held during Labour Day weekend,so most people get the long weekend off anyway. For Florida it will be different as that is hurricane season, so it will be held on a different weekend...
I guess it all depends if you can ask for an extra day off or 2...! It's well worth it, and as the next one is only in 2009,plenty of time to figure it all out.

Don't worry about me at all. I'm sure I could manage to find one day to myself. I would enjoy an adults only day. I do work with kids all day so it's hard for me not to enjoy them as well.

Kayla says hi by the way to everyone!! She was just asking if we were going to get to go to Florida.

I've never been there and what fun it would be to go and see all my friends at UBPN.

BUMPING UP because after reading the post this morning "where's Chris?" it sounds like I missed out big time on the "AdultBPI Water Volley Ball" Game at Camp this year.[must've gone to bed early!!..LOL]

Next Camp let's schedule a game at the pool so all adults can make it. Wonderful therapy and fun too. Schedule another for Teens/tweens. [good bonding activity from 1 Camp to another].

I'd like to see a game of robpi vs lobpi or perhaps boys against the girls... LOL.

I'll get my pad and pencil ready along with my camera.
If you decide not to jump in an play you can be the cheerleader... LOL...

lol I dont think our game even started until after 10 pm. It was so much fun though! Not like I needed sleep at camp, staying up till like 2 am then getting back up at 6 that caught up with me quickly when I got back to school. I would be fun to play again, I am up for it!
