It is frustrating when you tell someone and you think they understand but the reality of it is they have no idea. Same thing happened at this work out place I have been going to.
Although my PT understands, because he worked with me, it took two weeks for the guy to realize I am hurting badly from my injury. He's trying to modify the exercises for me but its so frustrating.
I think the worst part of our injury is we know (in our minds) we can do these things that seem so simple. Like playing golf, basketball etc...but no one understands the over comepnsation that goes along with this and then how much pain we continue to be in.
I should be working out right now, but I am weighing out to I want to be in pain and have a raging headache today or do I just not go and be fine?
We will be sure to have lots of hugs, tears, etc. at camp. And if you are feeling anything like me they are all well deserved.
