Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I have to check into storage now! The builders told us today that they will not be ready until next Dec/Jan.

I sold my house because I was under the impression that they were to be built this fall and ready for early spring delivery...

Well at least the hard part of deciding to sell and showing the house is over and it's time to move on.

Wish I had time to wrap all the kids stuff up. Perhaps I will just wrap all the folders with report cards, SAT reports etc... Two of them never took their college diplomas.. What's that about? LOL..

Merry Christmas

Kath,
Wow, that is a long time to wait for your new house to be built. I hope you have temporary housing until then. Hint: When you move into storage make a map....a floor plan of where you are putting things. Number all you boxes and keep a notebook full of box numbers and a detailed inventory. You think I am nuts, I have been through this....we were in storage for almost 18 months and I did it and it saved me many times. It is so much easier than having to rearrange everything to find the box that you think the item is in and then finding out it is not in that box.....bummer !!!
Need anymore moving hints, let me know, I have a bunch of them....been through this so many times. Another hint is to make the boxes with huge colored dot....red for kitchen, blue for living room etc. that way it narrows down the box that you may be looking for. I keep teasing my hubby that we should start our own moving business, we have done it so many times, that I think we are pros by now. LOL !!!! Good luck, and get a bigger storage unit than you think that you need so you can have an aisle down the middle. It is worth the few bucks extra !!!

Yeah for you Gayle!

Now I know the reason your Outreach has not been delivered.
Send your new address to Nancy...

I have the attic cleaned out along with most of the basement and the garages... ugh....
I have given away bedroom set and other stuff...
I really want to scale down so that I can keep it simple.

I am organized so my closets etc. are ready to pack.
I just need a place to live and a closing date... LOL..

I love the stress, it works wonders for me, my palm has been so itchy for months and that happens under stress.
My mother use to say it means your going to get money...
LOL... LOL...
I forgot how annoying the itchy palm can be...

No Kath, I am still getting mail at the old house. I did that on purpose so that UBPN doesn't have to pay for the mail carriers slowness. I will send Nancy my new address !!! GAYLE

Gayle,

You are so funny. That's a great line, next time my husband says anything about all the stuff I have I will have to tell him his girlfriend brought it. LOL

Thanks for the laugh.

Hugs, Karen
