This I don't know. Dr. Shenaq didn't have me in PT until after my splint came off. (which was 6 weeks post-op) At that time, it didn't hurt, but my arm was REALLY weak.

Hello!!
I hope the trip to the salon went well for him. I used to be a hairstylist and people used to beg for me to wash their hair longer. haha...it is really a great way to relax. I hope the trip went well and PT goes well also.

Well we made it Frankie finally got his hair washed he wants to go everyday to the beauty parlor he said it made him feel great. Now he's with one of his teachers the school sends one from each subject for two hours a day so he doesn't fall behind. As far as the PT I think Dr Nath wants him to start now just doing upward range of motion since the splint has to be increased to 120 degrees over the next 3 weeks then he has to wear it for 3 months when he sleeps. We meet the PT tomorrow I hope she knows what she's doing she said she never worked with any BPI kids but I couldn't find anyone that had that is covered by our insurance. Hope everyone has a good night I'm going to watch House that's frankie & my favorite show. Have a Goodnight Mare
