A Note To Ellen B, and John Floyd....
Re: A Note To Ellen B, and John Floyd....
Thank you for the clarification, Ellen. Yes, Dr. Nath (as always) responded quickly and with clarity. He said that it will be subtle and not to expect antigravity movement for @ 12 months. Tomorrow will be Sam's 1 year anniversary of his accident. It will also be the day he sees a pain specialist who I have great faith in. Thanks to everyone who shares their experiences and encouragement. Michele
Re: A Note To Ellen B, and John Floyd....
Spinky yes he did have nerves and muscles taken from his left leg and transferred into his right arm and so far so good we went back on the 24th of this month for a check up and he goes in for a tune up surgery called the bow string surgery on November 8th and he will only be there onr night if it all goes well what had happened is that the muscles they put in his elbow area on the inner inside of the arm is way to tight so Dr. Shin is going in to loosen it up so he can get more movement...

Hi Ellen I am so glad to hear that John is doing great tell him hi ffom us we had a good report at Mayo and David has a tune up surgery on November 8th called a bow string surgery the muscle in the elbow are is too tight so Dr. Shin is going in to loosen it up so he can be able to move it more he will only be in over night if all goes well and it will only be me going with him his dad had a bad accident at work and has dropped sheet metal on his fingers and has cut the 3 tips off the 3 fingers in between the thumb and the pinky on his left hand so he will be in LaCrosse WI., having surgery on himself they had pinned the fingers and the pointer didn't take so they will be removing the tip on that one for sure and as for the middle one (naughty one) the bone was sheered in that one so they are gonna shorten that one up just a bit and the ring finger seems to be healing and doing ok... You All Take Care and keep in touch... Judy
