burning sensation?

I am not sure that it could be from compensation, If it was just after a particular activity then maybe but its constant all the time for the last 4 weeks or so. Its only in that one spot thats near the middle of my back. Its weird! I do get burning from compensation at times but thats usualy on a muscular level, and this is only skin deep.
I start therapy here next week, maybe they will be able to figure it out, if not I will have to arrange to meet with my OT at home again when she has more time than my last visit(it was unplanned and she had to pick up her kids)

Do you just type with your left hand? If so then it could be overuse of the unaffected. I used to work at an office job a while back where I would type with my left unaffected all day. After a couple of months I got burning pain in my neck and upper trap on the left side. I never got a diagnosis but it seemed obvious to me, I was using my left arm too much. I never found a way around it because I left that job to return to school. Perhaps some therapy to relax those muscles?

Well I do type soley with my left hand but the burning was on the right side. I am ROBPI. The funy thing is, just as suddenly as this burning started about 4 weeks ago, now its about gone. I have not done any thing different that I can think of. Its crazy, but I am totally happy that its just about gone! Now there is only spot about the size of a fifty cent piece. Crazy!
