I have some questions for all of you that have experienced what I am currently experiencing.
How many of you had surgical procedures to resolve the issue?
Did it fix everything 100%?
Did anyone have non-surgical treatment that helps?
How long was the recovery time from surgical/non-surgical treatments?
Has anyone had a cortisone shot?
What do you do when your arm goes numb and you're in terrible pain? How do you remedy it for that moment?
Last night I was in so much pain I took Advil, Tylenol, UltramER and Soma(sleeping pill) and I was in pain for 4 hours until I felt any relief. I also used a heating pad, which made me realize how different certain things feel when my arm is numb-er and I can def tell that I have a loss in sensations on my left side.

Thorasic outlet syndrome

hey everyone, went back to some more doctors and more tests. One doctor has diagnosed me with RSD - "reflex sympathetic dystophy." Another doctor that I trust more, has diagnosed me with "thorasic outlet syndrome." I am still in limbo, I'm told to try PT for 2 months (even though I had tried it for 9 months before that), and to try accupuncture and then as a last resort surgery. Anyone with BPI type of injury been diagmosted with TOS?
