Hi Richard. It sounds as if her worker's comp are operating in the dark ages, but for what it's worth, Mayo Clinic doctors are on salary, the center is non-profit & insurance companies usually "like" them since the costs are comparatively low. Our insurance treated them as "in network" even though they're out of state. We got a referral since that level of expertise didn't exist in Georgia.
