NON-BPI cross your fingers for me.
Re: NON-BPI cross your fingers for me.
I know how you are feeling. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I started a new job. And it too is perfect. I have to work some weekends but they are okay with all the time I have to be out because of doctor appts. I wish all the best of luck for you. I know how hard it can be to find a good job. It took me 4 1/2 months to find this one. Best of Luck!:)

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I finally heard back from the dentist. Almost a month later. I didn't get it. But I am still holding my head up, because I have quite a few places to interview with. Plus, the longer it takes now- the more I get to be with the kids. I am just so ready to work again, for my sanity.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Keep 'em coming.

So sorry to hear about the job Marlyn. I'm actually jealous that you are able to stay at home for the time being. Even though I only work 3-12 hour shifts per week, it's still more than I'd like to be away from my home and family. I enjoyed the first 16 months of my son's life at home, but I only got 11 weeks with my daughter. Enjoy it while you can.

I'm sorry Marlyn for having to wait and wonder It is so nice that you have that time with the kids - I do understand the insanity. There are days that I feel so overworked and unappreciated. I remember once wearing a bowl on my head and letting Brittney hit me with a spoon on the bowl (motivating her to use that arm) because we were home all day together and I tried non-stop to think up ideas to help her- maybe some weren't so smart of me - possible brain damage on my part!! LOL and then when I went places with her I'd hear "Oh so you don't work - what a life of luxury you must have!" (Yeah right!! I'm now brain damaged....)I'm thinking to myself that at times "stay at home Moms are abused! LOL I think about all of the volunteer work that I do at the schools but at times missing the person who used to wear suits to work...even get a PAY CHECK for my work!!!! How cool was that? I think both sides - working or not have it stressful - I'm not sure how working Moms can keep up their energy once they get home - they amaze me by the energy - and the stay at home Moms work so hard too.... I hope that you find what makes you happy and good luck to you! Please keep us updated because we care! Sorry y'all for rambling,
Christy
