Hey all!!
Just made it back to Montana this afternoon. Thank you all so much for sharing a great weekend with my daughter and I. I learned so much and had so many great experiences it is absolutely incredible to me. I wanted to wish everyone a safe return home but it was so hard to say good bye to everyone. Thank you to all the Board of Directors and Nancy Birk who made this experience possible for me. I can't believe I had to wait 33 years to experience this. I am so glad I met everyone and whoever I didn't meet I want to in Washington. Thanks again everyone and keep in touch!

We all had a wonderful time at camp this year in Washington DC. It was wonderful meeting everyone. Steph and Kirby had an amazing experience working with all of the children in the sports clinic. Special thanks to Joe for helping with the clinic.

Thank you to the board for organizing this meaningful and fun camp!

Rachel,
I can top you...it was all sooo emotional for me to take in everything at Camp at age 67. And I think what if I had ignored my son Scott's constant "You need to take a Computer class Mom!!"....I'm proof that you are never to learn something new!

Can't wait to hug everyone again in Washington in 2007.
Hugs all around,
Carolyn J
PS...it'll take me 2 years to rest up for the next one!! I'm pooped.

We landed back home at 5.05 a.m. this morning after spending a few days in Connecticut. This was after staying in the West Virginian mountains after UBPN camp had finished. (many thanks to the Wilson and Anderson families for taking such good care of us!!) I am so sorry and have to apologise to Troy and Tina...we lost all the 'phone numbers so couldn't contact you. I hope you forgive us.

Well, what can I say about the UBPN camp...Neil and I had a FANTASTIC time..the weather was great, the venue (4H) was airy and huge, food was really good and the company the best you could wish for.

I have to give my personal thanks to all the team who made camp possible and filled every minute with activities not only for the kids, their parents and family members, but for the injured adults too. The workload on each one of them must have been huge, particularly on Karen and Nancy.

It was great to meet new people and fantastic to catch up with old friends...I think Neil and I made even more friends this time, and hope there will be more next time around.

I was personally very pleased to see Dr Belzburg there and have a chance to (gently!) lock horns with him over a couple of points, and I very much look forward to meeting him again. ;0) Thanks has to go to him, Scott Kozin and Dr Elkwood for giving up their spare time to UBPN in this way.

We are very much looking forward to the next camp...we intend to win the 'first in with the registration form' prize this time!!!

Hope I haven't rambled on too much..still a bit jet lagged and not quite on to it...!

Again, MASSIVE thanks to all involved!

Lizzy B and Neil :0)

It was great to see you two again.
It was a busy schedule and it flew by so quickly.
I needed another week at camp so I could meet more of the campers and spend more time with everyone.
I hope to see you both in 2007 and glad you got to gently lock horns... LOL...

I hear congratulations are in order... sorry I did not offer them in person.

Hi, Liz! It was nice to meet you and Neil. I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to talk with you very much. I thought I'd get to make up for it this week. I will forgive you if you'll forgive us b/c my husband couldn't find your number either. I was hoping you'd call since I couldn't call you. Did you get to Manchester? I hope you had a nice visit. Take care. ~Tina

Liz,

Great review! I agree wholeheartedly:

A BIG, BIG "THANK YOU" to Karen and Nancy and their spouses, and all the board memeber --and their spouses-- and again, to all the people who came to camp.
Nancy and Karen took on the most repsonsibilities for this camp and made it a very special event and optimized on everything they could for the people coming to it! I don't envy them, but I thank them completely!
