How far did you travel?

Have you considered Shriners Sacramento? They have always been able to get us in pretty quickly when our son was young. Dr. Michelle James is great.

Here is her website:

((HUGS)) It must have been so hard to prepare yourself for surgery and then have it cancelled is terrible.

All of this information is great.
Thank you so much again to everyone.
I am so glad that i was told about this board and joined it.
It has taken me along way.
And i learn new things.
I do not know either if this was Gods way of saying no not right now.
But for some reason i know my Daughter needs this surgery.
It seems as if this injury you haft to be strong and fight to the fullest.
And i know we haft to be strong for our kids.

The pain of waching them suffer like this is just so wrong.
They are so innocent.
Our kids did nothing wrong to be hurt like this.

Darn OB Doctors and midwives.
god is with all of our babys and kids.

Salina,

It sounds like your daughter has total palsy - all the roots of the brachial plexus are affected. Please please please... I beg you to accept the recommendation for primary surgery for your daughter. I know how terrifying that decision can be, but surgery is probably the only chance your dear daughter has to have use of her hand and arm. You've had primary nerve reconstruction recommended by some very conservative doctors! Please take their advice.
