As many of you know, guest posting is allowed on this site for the persons who are in litigations and may not be able to freely post. I am not positive but I do not believe that there are many of us here on the TBPI boards that are in litigations pertaing to our injuries. I would like to ask that we register with the website, with a log in, and do not post as guests. There have been a few times quite recently that really old threads get bumped up for no reason and old guest posts gett read that we are seeing misleading information on. This is SCARY! We are all here looking for support and or supporting each other. It is hard for me sometimes when I am not sure who the information is coming from. So lets not hide behind guest posting... we are all adults here. Thanks for the support.

Re: Let's all LOG IN...
When people dont log in, for one, their posts have to be approved by the moderators so they are not seen always in the order that they should be. I get confused when a guest post is approved afteranother post has been written. Then the thread tends to ake littel sense. For two there have been people that give false or misleading information. If people are logged in we know who is who. And lastly, why not log in? It just seems a bit odd to me.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: January 1980 Yamaha RD200 vs 16 wheeler truck, result, 1 totally paralysed right arm. I was 21, now 54. I had no surgery, I don't regret this. Decided to totally ignore limitations (easily done aged 21) adapted very quickly to one handed life, got married, had 3 kids, worked- the effect of the injury on my life (once the pain stopped being constant) was minimal and now, aged 54, I very rarely even think of it, unless I bash it or it gets cold, then I wish I'd had it amputated :) Except for a steering knob on my car, I have no adaptations to help with life, mainly because I honestly don't think of myself as disabled and the only thing I can't do is peel potatoes, which is definitely a good thing.

Don't know which posts you are referring to Court, but if they contain misleading information, why not delete them?
I sometimes post as guest on gen board, I find I get a better response that way, I have no idea why. Maybe its because I don't have a bpi baby? But I ALWAYS log in here on this board.
You admin guys do work so hard and it is appreciated, this place is great these days!

Re: Let's all LOG IN...
Thats what I said Jenny, I can understand the guest posting on the Gen board but not here... I do not see the need! I have talked with Nancy about talking to the moderators about this but we still have guest posting on here... so I am just hoping that we can all be mature adults and not hide on this board.
