Everyone Back?

Post by Brandon_3 »

Aloha all and I hope everyone had a great time at Camp. I am sure everyone who didn't go to camp will be relieved that you are all back because the majority of the posts have been gripes about everyone being gone, and that noone was paying attention to them. No offense to those who posted about their legitamate issuses. And to the new members I say welcome and not to worry the forum isn't always this selfish. I hope everyone has a better week.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Brandon,
I just got home last night; I couldn't get a flight home for a descent price (for 4 of us) on Sunday.
Courtney has school--and yes, that's her name--so I'm not really sure what her schedule is, but I know she will contact you soon, if she hasn't already.

I will also talk to you/email you soon. Still trying to sort out laundry, get kids ready to go to school this morning, etc. I may need a nap later, also! haha
