Gracilis Muscle Transfer

My Daughter Rondi needs a gracilis transfer for her hand. She has no use of it right now. Dr. Nath is scheduled to do it. How was your experience at Mayo ?
Does your son have grip now? Does he have any sensory perception in his hand? I have not talked to anyone who has had this procedure for the hand done,

Gianni has always had good hand function. He was affected with C5, C6, and some of C7. He did have 9 nerve grafts done almost three years ago. He still can't bend at the elbow, so we will be trying the muscle transfer sugery for elbow flextion.
