Bit cheeky....

Post by lizzyb »

...but thought I'd post here that the TBPI Group now have silicon wristbands for sale as a fundraiser.....;0)
Unfortunately, I STILL haven't properly set up the groups' Paypal account, so buying them from outside the U.K. won't be very straightforward, HOWEVER, I will be bringing some of them with me when we go over for the UBPN camp in September. Anyway, here's the link... http://www.tbpiukgroup.homestead.com/banditbands.html

OH MY GOD!!!!! how cute is that!!!! thats what I call Javier when he is being a destructive, mischeivous little boy. He is OBPI, but I want one of those!!!! great job to whoever had the nerve to go through with it!!!

MArlyn mom to Javier 1 ROBPI

P.s Javier has 0 function on right side. as many of you know he is only 6 months post-primary. Prognosis never has been real good for his recovery. So instead of trying to fix it, we are teaching him to live with it. But with his personality- wish we could try to slow him down long enough to teach him anything. lol
pnce again- great job!!!

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
