Post by Mary Jane »

We are leaving for TX for the TT procedure. If anyone has any advice or tips we would love to hear them.

Thank you all,

Mary Jane,

I know you are feeling insecure...my daughter has had 3 surgeries and it is never easy! As long as you feel you are doing what is best for your child, that is what matters.

Please keep us posted after the surgery.

Take care and safe travel!

Oh, take along a favorite toy/book and comfortable jammies (for you, too)--and slippers for you.

I wish you and your child well Mary Jane. Hoping for a speedy and painless recovery!!! I don't know if you know this or not but Dr. Nath has a driver who will take you to the different appointments the day of surgery at no cost to you. I would recommend using him, his name is Curtis and he is great.

we took James out for his favorite dinner the night before his TT, and we just kept him and us busy, we were there during the rodeo so we went to the rodeo the day before and the day after he went into the hospital.
we also met a few parents while visiting dr nath the day before the surgery, so network with them, its always best to meet someone who is going through a similar situation to help your mind ease.
Good luck, we will keep you in our prayers. Let us know how it goes!
