Thank you for the encouraging words! I'm so emotional and nervous about the surgery and, of course, second guessing myself. I just know in my heart that I couldnt bear to have happen with #2 what happened with our DD.

My OB too has reference studies that are supporting c-section as safer for infants. It will be interesting to see how things change in the coming years.

I will let everyone know how it goes and what we have (its a surprise!)

I know how you feel. My second is LOBPI, and I had an elective C-section for my third to prevent another injury. And she was born in perfect shape. It was definitely worth it. You're going to do fine.

As to people offering opinions you don't want, I understand your feelings. Women, especially, need to just keep their mouths shut around pregnant women, period! Hang in there. I'm sure you'll feel better when it's all over.

Congratulations on your new little angel. Come Monday, you'll be holding this precious little one, and the opinions of others won't matter to you at all.
