HELP......I've lost it. Someone I know would like to see it.
By the way, for all the newbies and late coming lurkers ), our dear Jenny just happens to be quite an artist !! There are some pretty funny cartoons on Ryan's website that she drew. The one playing "twister" is a major hoot !!........another reason I need the link. Won't lose it this time........I promise
Jenny, thanks for the numbers you worked up (under Karl's post) it puts things in a bit of a different perspective. Kind of paints a picture doesn't it ?? Like the push pin idea too.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: January 1980 Yamaha RD200 vs 16 wheeler truck, result, 1 totally paralysed right arm. I was 21, now 54. I had no surgery, I don't regret this. Decided to totally ignore limitations (easily done aged 21) adapted very quickly to one handed life, got married, had 3 kids, worked- the effect of the injury on my life (once the pain stopped being constant) was minimal and now, aged 54, I very rarely even think of it, unless I bash it or it gets cold, then I wish I'd had it amputated :) Except for a steering knob on my car, I have no adaptations to help with life, mainly because I honestly don't think of myself as disabled and the only thing I can't do is peel potatoes, which is definitely a good thing.
Re: need link to Ryan's website
last time i spoke to ryan he said it was offline temporarily, he's doing stuff...i have gathered together my bpi toons (there are more now) and if you like i'll send em to you....may take a wee while coz they are on our other puter which isn't internet connected, and each one is too big for a floppy disk so i have to somehow transfer em to this puter, Liz wants em too....ryan or any other cyber wizards...any ideas about this? or do i just hafta bite the bullet and drag phone wires all over the house to temporarily connect the old puter up again?? anyway, i'll get em to you one way or another, just don't hold your breath....and George, thanks for the praise, flattery always works a treat ;0)
