Have a look anyway, the link to the page is on this one.. http://www.tbpiukgroup.homestead.com/index_1.html seems the site is having a few probs so old link might not work *sigh* more bluddy problems..anyway, thanks to Onepaw for providing all the data.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: January 1980 Yamaha RD200 vs 16 wheeler truck, result, 1 totally paralysed right arm. I was 21, now 54. I had no surgery, I don't regret this. Decided to totally ignore limitations (easily done aged 21) adapted very quickly to one handed life, got married, had 3 kids, worked- the effect of the injury on my life (once the pain stopped being constant) was minimal and now, aged 54, I very rarely even think of it, unless I bash it or it gets cold, then I wish I'd had it amputated :) Except for a steering knob on my car, I have no adaptations to help with life, mainly because I honestly don't think of myself as disabled and the only thing I can't do is peel potatoes, which is definitely a good thing.

...for me that link just reached the tbpi home page, you need to scroll down to 'resources' down on the left suide and there's a link to Onepaw's borg sling there. Great description and pics Onepaw!

Hi Jen...yeah the link should be at the top of the home page too...under the 'NEW' heading on the right.
Incidently, if anyone is having trouble getting onto the TBPI Group site, it is because the domain that I use to redirect to it has gone on the blink. :0(
The people that host it are 'doing some server maintenance...' now thats a phrase that sends chills down my spine after the ezboard fiasco (which still continues to this day)
Until (if!) it's back on line, the full web address has reverted back to the Homestead one which is http://www.tbpiukgroup.homestead.com/index_1.html
