Moment of truth tomorrow!!! *Gulp*

Post by BrokenWingedAngel85 »

Well, we just found out that Daniel's next appointment with the neurologist is tomorrow. That is when his doctor is going to analyze the scans we had done on Monday, figure out exactly what the extent of the damage is, and tell us where to go from there. I'm so nervous, but also very anxious to get a full diagnosis. Wish us luck!

Johanna- Good luck and I hope you get some "good" news. I know that none of this is good, but hopefully Daniel's injury isn't too too awful. I will keep my fingers crossed for him.

Johanna, Daniel, and family,

I'm sending a prayer your way for great results and superb recovery. This is the same prayer I said for my daughter when we started this journey 2 1/2 years ago. I hope all goes well.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
