Neuroton side effect

A few days ago my mom, who has a RBPI that occured in March of 2005,went to her doctor about pain relief. He suggested that she double her current dose of neuroton. Three days after starting this, she suddenly had trouble speaking, walking and seeing. The doctor thinks the increased dose of neuroton is interacting with some anti-depressants that she is taking. As soon as the neuroton wore off she was fine. Has anyone had anything similar happen? Neuroton is the only drug that's helped her with nerve pain so we'd hate to see her have to stop using it.

I was taking 8 pills a day, the higest dose that Mayo gave out. I was so "out of it". I forgot my mom's b-day, I forgot that I bought her a gift so I bought another one. I had no sex drive and in the middle of talking I'd forget what I was talking about.
I started slowly increasing my dosages until the pain was mild but I couldn't function. I forgot to pick up my children from school one day. I got scared and weened myself off of it, which was horrible!!!! I cried for days not knowing way.
I tried it and it was not for me.
