We are back from Texas. Alyssa had the Triangle Tilt with Dr. Nath last Thursday and is doing just great! Dr. Nath said he is pleased with how well it went. While there, we met a family who's son had the same surgery in March and we were able to see in person how much the surgery has done for him. It is truly amazing.
Glad to be back! Going to be a long 6 weeks with the splint on - but Alyssa is handling it so well. She knows what this is going to do for her and I think that makes it a bit better
Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I am so glad to hear Alyssa is doing so well thanks for keeping us posted. I wish her a speedy recovery and hope this surgery is all you hoped it would be.
