Seeing Dr. Nath on 8/31 in NJ

Post by admin »

Is anyone else going? Does anyone have recommendations on what hotel to stay out and what family things there are to do in the surrounding areas? We are planning to make a mini vacation out of it since it will take us 5 hrs. to get there.

Julie,
Where are you coming from? We're coming from MA (also 5 hours away) and are also going to stay for a couple of days. The most reasonable hotel we have found thus far is the Ramada by the Newark Airport.

We will also be there. I am from nj so I am not sure about hotels or attractions up in North Jersey. I look forward to meeting people at the appointment. What time is your appointment? Ours is at 1:15pm.

Try to find out about Great Adventure, Dorney Park, Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland.

Sesame Place is a great place, too - better for the younger set and has a lot of water activities and new rides.

We have an appt. on the 31st with Dr. Nath also. We have not made any resevations yet, we were there last September and we stayed at the Madison hotel right in Morristown. It was very nice and it was right down the street from the Drs. office.
We also have a 5 hour drive and are also going to stay for a few days and bring our other kids with us to see NYC!! Hope to see you there!!

How close is Sesame Place to Newark? I'd like to take Daniel if I can but I'm not sure if we'll have time.

We are coming from upstate NY (halfway between Buffalo and Syracuse). We have a 9:00am appt. so we can get in and out and do something that day. Anyone else have an early appt?

Sesame Place is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours away from Newark - but traffic plays a huge factor - there is a major (truck) turnpike that you need to ride to get there - but sesame place is definitely a fun place for the kids that are not into or ready for the death defying rides of Great Adventure
