Tommorow we take Chloe to St. Louis Children's Hospital to see BP Specialist Dr. T.S. Park. He is the chief nuerologist at the Washinton University BP Center. I was wondering if anyone has ever met him or worked with him and how their experiance went.
Chloe was born April 8th with BPI on her right arm. When she was born she could move all her fingers and her hand a little bit. Now she is moving her finger, hand and bending her wrist. She can lift her arm off of the bed and put it on her belly. She pushes against us when we hold her hand. She is not bending her arm at all and always keeps it strait when she lifts it. We are really optimistic about her recovery but are preparing for the worst. Anyway Please Keep her in your prayers and let me know if anyone knows anything about Dr. Park.

I know of others who have been and have had positive experiences. I hope they see this and will post.
I am so sorry your baby was injured. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers, along with all the other children needlessly injured. I sure hope the appointment goes well and that she is blessed with a good recovery. Please let us know how the appointment goes.

me personally, I did not like dr Park.....no bed side manner.......dr netzl(sp) and the therapists are great.....if they are still following the old protocol you will see the whole team......I found dr park to be surgerically aggressive. I'm sure he is wonderfull and have heard of others with positive opionions.....this is just my personal opionion

Dr Parks operated on my granddaughter about 4 yrs. ago. she has had very good response, but still will need more surgery. Her hand is in better position and she can raise her arm up to her forehead. Dr. Parks is excellent!!
Good Luck

We had primary with Dr. Park 3 years ago. I feel he and his whole team are excellent. They do a grat job and have wonderfull therapy facilities there. I would definately reccommend them. We went to TCH for our Mod Quad surgery and they were excellent as well. Good luck! Heather

Oh yes Doc. Park is great! he does like to wait to close to the last min. before doing surgery due to waiting for childs full potential and he doesn't talk much, but he and his team are awsome! The therapy staff is very wonderful too
