Natalie has Blue Cross Blue Shield. They paid 80% after her deductable was met. Our one PT in this area was not at all familiar with any of this so I had to take the lead, but now he's totally on board and learning all he can. It's lit a fire under all of us!

VANDA, Sorry to interupt here, but I noticed your post. Can you explain "poor sleep position"? Should this be a concern if a child dont seem to have the winging scapula? Or can the winging scapula happen after a TBPI if its not present right off after injury? Confused a little...

Richard loves to sleep in a most detrimental to him position with his arm totall internally rotated, the elbow bent up above his head laying on his internally rotated bent arm , just stretching the scapular muscles like crazy pulling everything in the absolute opposite way that we need it to go. so we splint and tether his arm for him to prevent that.
