Nonsurgical options
I just wanted to find out what types of non surgical things parents have done that have corrected internal rotation of the arm.

Re: Nonsurgical options
our work is still in progress but we are getting results using bracing splinting tes stretching releases rom exercise- we are getting good results following DR.Pape's protocols -www.tascnetwork.net The internal rotation has not completely resolved yet but we have made much progress -supination and external rotation have increased by about 90 degrees this past year as well as less of a bent elbow and greatly increased strength and decreased winging of scapula - we still have more work to do but the good results so far keep us going and I hope to see more gains over the next year.

Re: Nonsurgical options
I am not sure if anyone has been able to truly correct internal rotation. It would really depend on how internally rotated you are talking, for how long and age of child. Some people have made much progress with therapy, therapy and more therapy, and some believe taping helps and strengthening muscles, and sometimes it gets better overtime. Also, many kids have had surgical intervention that never truly resolved the internal rotation either. Much to think about.
