Sorry to hear about Peyton. I appreciate you sharing that with us though I never even thought about if my little girl (3) broke anything how it would be. Now I am even more upset about the doctor who hurt my girl.
Bless you and Peyton

Sorry to hera about Peyton and I too never realized my son would never be able to use crutches. Ouch and oh, your back. My son is 6 too and I hated carrying him when he was 16 months and in his SOL splint. Hope you find a wheelchair quickly. Gayle

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Peyton still looks cute in her cast... poor baby ...
I don't know how you manage there is a time when we can no longer lift our babies even if we want to,take it easy and watch out for your back.
I was 35 when I broke a small bone in my foot. I sent my husband for crutchers oh! how painful. I was shocked I could not use them even though I always knew under my arm was sensitive... dummy! But I was sure I could take care of that -- I sent him for a walker duh! I never realize it would require me to weight bear and I could not! I had three small kids then... sorry she had to learn so young.
