This is from my emial update from 20/20 for the upcoming show...
The family video camera has become ubiquitous, especially as it shrinks in
size with every advance in technology. So many people use them regularly
to document all of those important moments in a family’s life. Except one:
the birth of a child. More and more delivery rooms are banning the use of
video cameras. Why? The answer may have more to do with law than medicine
-- and it may make you a little angry, as it did me.
"I don’t want pictures taken of the birth that could later be
misinterpreted and used against me in a lawsuit," one obstetrician tells
Arnold Diaz. Arnold’s report demonstrates that doctors do have a lot to
fear. He shows us delivery-room errors, caught on tape, that have led to
huge malpractice settlements. Doctors argue that the pictures don't tell
the whole story, leading our soft-spoken Arnold to ask one of them, "I
mean how could it not be accurate? It’s a picture of what happened!" You
won’t want to miss his report.

Thanks Krista
I e-mailed my entire family... extended family and all of my friends to watch... Maybe they will begin to understand how serious this injury is and how it can happen to anyone...
