picnic/clinics

Post by smorgan41 »

I've tried posting this twice and it has never showed up. Hopefully third time is a charm??? I'm wondering if anyone knows the clinic/picnic schedule for the TCH doctors this spring? Sam may need another surgery and I'm trying to avoid a Texas trip to find out. I'm willing to drive to Kansas City (7 hours away) or Cincinnati (5 hours) or Nashville (2 hours) but haven't heard of anything yet. Anyone know?

Susan,

Dr. Nath will be here in Phoenix this weekend meeting families, etc. Please contact me for more details if you are interested. I don't know where you live?

that's waht I have so far - you can call Lisa Davis to see if she knows of any others that I don't have listed yet....

I think that there may be one in Long Island but I don't know if there's a planned date yet.

thanks,

we are in far western Kentucky. Cincinnati is about 6 hours from us so Columbus is about 8 or so. I'll keep it in mind. We drive through Columbus on our way to my in-laws in PA.

Yep, we are back. Sam is doing great I guess. Still little to no external rotation but he uses his arm without prompting and uses it for all activities. He has learned to compensate with the supination issues. Shoulder area is of the most concern now. Did you ever get my henna postcards? Bahrain was great.

I'll call Lisa to see if she knows of anything else. She didn't the last time I spoke with her. Thanks.

Bridget,

Phoenix is too far for us. I'd be almost better off going to Houston! But thanks for letting me know.

Hi Susan I do not know if you remeber me but I met you in Tennesee. I have not heard of any picnics nearby but there will be one in Chicago in Sept. My daughter Alora will be three in May she has about the same function that you describe of Sam, compensation for bicep, no supination very functional use of arm. She has had primary and mod quad. She was evaluated in Chicago last Sept. By Dr. Nath, he said she need the shoulder tightening surgery, to prevent dislocation and correct positioning. Nice to know you are back safe
