Re: oxycotin
Well, I have never been addicted to any kind of drug in my life.........I haven't even really tried to "smoke up", but here I am 2 years into the drug and trying like shit to get it out of me........I have no pain at all and just found it on the street....now I need it everyday so I don't FREAK out and feel like climbing up the walls.........I need serious help but scared as hell to have anyone find out...my family would kill me, I am trying to look into a meth clinic but if it costs more to get off and it is just another drug to get hooked on what the hell is the point? I mean why would i get myself off one, only to get hooked to another........Can someone please assist on filling me in on what exactly Meth is like and how it makes you feel......if people are going to find out that I am on something to try and rid my self of the monster...I will just keep the monster cause it is alot less noticing...................HELP!!

Try this site http://www.heroin-detox.com/ .
It has a forum for talking about opiate addicition and tells you more about methadone then I know. The little I do know is that methadone tricks your body into thinking it's on oxycotin but does not give you the "high" feeling. So once you body is completely free of the opiate you start weening yourself off methadone which has far fewer withdrawl symptoms and is easier to stop taking.

I have been on oxycotin for 6 years now for a massive blood clot in my left leg which alsmost killed me. i was only 47 at the time but it took me 3months before i could even walk again. the only thing that helpedthe pain was oxycotin. now here i am 6 yrs later and no pain dr will even see me. i guess they think i am an addict. but in six yrs the dose has not increased. i would like to be a functioning member of society but without some tipe of pain medication about all i can do is sit on the couch with my leg proped up. i have no more oxycotin so right now i guess i am going through with drawal. i think am going to puck any minute. jeanne

I could feel my blood pressure rising as I read your post! I am so sorry you are being treated this way. I don't know your history and so can't comment on why as you say "no pain doctor will even see you", but it seems criminal to me for these doctors to allow you to suffer like this. Perhaps you need to switch to a different pain medication (or even a different method of administering it such as a pump)but to simply cut you off cold turkey is unprofessional and inexcusable. You have a "legal right" to receive adequate pain relief and not be treated like a "junky". There must be a doctor somewhere who could address your needs. Maybe if you provide your location, one of the forum members could help you out. You wouldn't be in Canada would you? Sounds like typical Canadian doctors mentality is all...Please don't allow tem to treat you this way...seek legal help if necessary.
My heart is breaking for you. Hang in there!

Re: oxycotin
Anyone... I have back pain that I would call extreme. My Dr was giving me percocet 5/325 and it just didn't work. I tried oxycotin 80 and it definitly helped the pain. But the itching was unbearable. Is there anything to relieve that side effect?

Just wondering what online med site you used.
Re: oxycotin
Hey yall, What up Sue? I just wanted to say meth works for me and milk o' magnisia does my bowels, kickin' meth is way easier than oxy. And at this point I don't get high off nothin'. However, I am pretty happy, 4 weeks after surgery (primary) and my bicep, deltoid, and Tricep, are actin crazy. ZLoveyou all especially Sue. Marry Christmas
