Tina - this was a great idea! I loved reading all of the replies. Kids are so fun. Brittney is now 10 and we still use some of her old "lango" from when she was a baby. I still say "Good Morgan Brippee" to her sometimes. She used to say "morgan" instead of "morning' and she couldn't pronounce her name very well and called herself "Brippee". Sabrina, who's now five, used to call herself "BaBeeBa" - now she calls herself 'Ashley' - whole other story! It's funny but even as they get as old as ten they still mispronouce words - the words they are trying to say are just more advanced but still get said wrong! "Is Ice-Skating a 'spectacle' sport Mom?" One of my favorites lately is looking for "Babe in Suits" for the pool -thanks to Sabrina. This was fun! Christy

A big THANK YOU to the so many who have contributed -- and to all the children for giving us something enjoyable to discuss and esp. to God for blessing us with these children! I've gotten lots of smiles reading all these funnies. I'll print this and save it for the rainy day that I need a pick me up!

These sayings are so cute, my daughter went to the bank with her aunt, when they got back home my daughter said' mommy I got money, I said oh yeah, she said yes it is in "MeMe's purse, and now her is broke, it was so funny she really thought that it was her money, needless to say her aunt didnt think so at least not the whole paycheck

These are so cute!

Just today, we had our carpet cleaned with my 4 year old here. Kyle asked me who the people were and I told him they were the "carpet cleaners." One young man puffed out his chest and said, I'm not a cleaner, I'm the supervisor!"
My son looked at him and said, "No, you're the super-pooper!"

Did you guys happen to see the Funniest Home Videos show where this mom comes in to her 2 son's bedroom and asks them what they were doing? They said they were putting some airplane stickers on the windows. She looked confused and said, "Airplane stickers? Where did you get those?" They said they got them from the bathroom. She looks at the window and she sees a bunch of her maxi pads with *wings* stuck to the window. I hope nobody was walking by outside while those were on display!!!!!!

when my daughter was 18 mos we bought her a little play kitchenette. daddy and her put it together and then when it was all done she clapped and said "yeah daddy did it" then my husband said "yeah, daddy knows" and laid down on the carpet and she went over to him and touched his nose and said "daddy nose" to this day we still refer to daddy nose.

If I question something my dd, Jordan (4 yrs.) says, she tells me "you just didn't hear me enough" - sometimes even if I correct something she says - she wants me to think she said it right the first time.

And anything in the past is "last year", "last week", or "last day" (instead of yesterday) no matter how far/recent in the past it was.

for the mom with the baby powder snow - I wish I had not panicked when I walked into my 2 year old's room when she had gotten into my lipstick and had it all over her lips, and beyond, and on her doll's face, etc. I wished later I had gotten pictures but at the time all I thought of was white berber carpet (chosen pre-kids)!

They definitely are sooo funny and it does help us to pay attention to those brighter moments!
