I am so new to all of this, I am only about a month in! I'm still fighting the case of nerves that arises eeverytime I think about how badly my shoulder hurts and how I can't raise my right arm. This website has been great so far. It helps alleviate some of my fears, although it does raise a few others ;-)
I can't drink due to other medical problems I have, so that's out...and I already take a bunch of meds for other issues, so the whole pill popping thing drives me nuts. But I do need to get rid of this pain in some way, the neurologist mentioned something about pain management yesterday...so I'll see where that goes. My hat is off to everyone who has been dealing with this for anyday longer than I have. Especially everyone who seems to actually be able to do normal activites.

hi michael!

first, hope you're feeling better. *big, careful one-armed hug* you should know by now you don't have to apologize for the down days - that's why we're all here - for each other.

i'm actually the reverse - the warm weather brings relief, unless there's rain. cold weather, like we have now, makes me hibernate. IF i do go out in the cold, i'm bundled up like crazy.

sorry i can't help.

hugs,

jan
p.s. please tell your mum that measurements coming.

Hang in. We are here to listen and to help.

Yell, cry, curse (under your breath), but don't hide.

The pain thrives in isolation.

Cheerios,
