Hi Salina,

I am so sorry that your precious daughter was injured. I am glad you found your way here and that you are getting her treatment. UBPN is so very helpful and you will meet many wonderful parents, who will offer friendship, support and information along the way.

Do you know if your baby's head came out and then stopped at the shoulders? Did you receive a copy of your hospital records yet? Did they not note shoulder dystocia? Even if it is not in the records, it doesn't necessarily mean it did not occur. I know a few moms' whose doctors just conveniently did not chart the shoulder dystocia since it can help them in legal matters.

Best wishes to you and your sweet baby girl. Lots of thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Take Care,
Lisa
