Free flight to Texas info

Post by browning93 »

In replying to Connie and Andrew about travel plans I found info I gathered in preparing for our trip. I was told that the patient advocate department at TCH can help fill out applications but I don't know if they meant sponsor. For the Kid Cares program at Northwest Airlines, go to www.NWA.com, click on about Northwest and then click on Kid Cares or call 1-612-726-4206. For American Airlines Miles For Kids program,go to www.AA.com or call their promotions department at 1-800-237-7981. Their general number is 1-800-433-7300. American airlines told me sponsors could be Salvation Army, Hospitals, churches, or even the Red Cross. I don't know the name of Continentals program but they can be reached at www.Continental.com or 1-800-525-0280. I know TCH told me they'd taken care of this before. Just didn't followup on it cause I was to close to our appointment in Texas.

As far as I know these programs use donated frequent flyer miles to fly the child and one parent for needed medical services only.

Hope this helps alot of you out. LeeAnne
