Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I am very saddened at this news as I just talked at lengths with Mike after my evaluation with Dr. Nath. He has a heart of gold, and cared dearly for all those children and the brachial plexus injury itself. He was the first, and only adult I have personally talked too and met who had OBPI like myself, and gave me hope for my future. I had a picture taken of the both of us. That picture will be treasured forever. My prayers, and thoughts will be with his family and friends. They had a gem!!! Thanks to all of you who contributed to the wonderful weekend, the information and evaluation for myself was very information, and I had a great time. Mike you will never be forgotten, and will always be an inspiration to me......Nicole

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike either.
My sympathies to his family and everyone else that I'm sure he has touched with love and kindness.
