BPI arm safe in sun?

I am not familiar with how the sun affects the injured arm, but I was curious to know if you have thought about using a tanning lotion. It may do the trick if you are trying to get the BPI arm to have the same tanned look as the healthy arm. Just a thought.

Hiya...I tried the suntan lotion on the arm many times, and because it burns so easily, I found that at least factor 30+ is the only way to go with this...even then, after about an hour in full sunlight, the arm starts to get red and blotchy...and even worse, no tan! Hopefully, others will be luckier. I suppose really it isn't too much of a prob for me since I live in one of the wettest parts of England, and the sun has been very shy this year so far, but as always, I live in hope for a hot summer like the freaky one we had last year

PS Never tried the self-tanning stuff tho...might give it a go, but I suppose I will have to do both arms otherwise they'll look completely different? Now that WILL be tricky! Have to try and persuade someone to apply it for me...!! lol

hiya hope u are all well i was born with bpi and i find that my left arm with has bpi tans more than my right arm.
